Mr. Wong is Senior Managing Director at Mountain Capital, LP.  He has 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry working as a senior investment banker and industry veteran. He was Co-Head and one of the founding members of the Wells Fargo Securities A&D team responsible for technical evaluation and advisory aspects of over $40 billion worth of closed upstream and midstream transactions.

His experience at Wells Fargo included building out and managing a multidisciplinary technical team, where he played a critical role in business development, technical assessments of oil and gas assets, and providing strategic advisory to clients. His prior investment banking experience also includes time as a senior engineer on the BNP Paribas, Raymond James, and Scotiabank A&D teams. Mr. Wong also spent 12 years at Chevron working in various reservoir engineering, business planning, and commercial advisory roles.

Mr. Wong received a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering with Honors from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Business Administration from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. Mr. Wong is a member of the Houston Producers Forum and a Board Member for the SPE Business Development Study Group and certain Mountain Capital Portfolio Investments.
